From Hebrews 10:12-14 - But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
Prayer: Father God, the architect of all time and creation, who by your plan for us led your Son to die on the cross for our sins and provide our redemption, may our hearts be pierced by the realization that Christ proclaimed victory in his last words. Please send the Holy Spirit to convict us and fully accept all the grace your Son provided for us. In the name of the crucified Christ. Amen.
